Skip to content Management (Community Services & Development) Full time Competitive & commensurate remuneration package.About UsIntoWork Australia is structured as a Group of 23 businesses with over 2600 staff.We are a leading provider of Employment, Skills and Support services supporting economic and social participation across Australia and New Zealand.Everything we do, including our range of tailored pathways for individuals and workforce solutions for employers, is underpinned by our vision - 'Vibrant Futures' - for our staff, service users and business clients.Our team and culture are keys to our success, underpinned by our shared core values of Respect, Innovation, Collaboration, Integrity, and CourageThe roleReporting into the Group CEO, the focus of the Group CFO is to support the organization in driving Social Impact in a financially sustainable manner, through leading the professional, flexible delivery of Shared Services - meeting the business needs of businesses within the Group and also striving for the highest quality service delivery at all times.Areas of accountability include Financial Analysis & Advice, Financial Planning, Financial Management, Cash Flow & Investment Management, Financial Reporting, Policy Development & Implementation, Financial Controls, Legal Compliance, Property Procurement, Asset & Insurance Management, Business Payroll, Tender Preparation, Staff Management and New Business Integration.Key responsibilities include: Lead, support and further develop the Shared Services team, including relevant Managers.Support the Group CEO in the strategic development of the Group including through potential acquisitions or mergersOversee the production of monthly Shared Service reports for the Boards, Business Leaders and Group CEO.Prepare the annual budget for IntoWork and oversee the preparation of annual budgets for business entities.Ensure the Group's compliance with contractual, statutory and legislative requirementsEnsure Group assets and financial integrity are protected through the establishment of effective controls, systems and procedures.Directly oversee the Procurement, Asset & Insurance services.Directly oversee the Business Payroll Manager and team which ensures payments for all apprentices and trainees and labour hire staff employed through the Group (currently about 3000 people)You will have / be: Proven experience as a CFO of a similar sized organization, reporting into a CEO, and working with diverse stakeholders to generate business outcomes.Extensive experience in Financial and Shared Services Management with a proven track record in strategic and operational business planning and development.Experience liaising with government departments and other relevant organizations.Experience in working with a Board and external auditors.Current CPA or CA credentials.Knowledge of or experience in the VET, NDIS, DES, Apprenticeship system, AQTF and State Training guidelines, and/or State Government training funding policies is desirable but not essential.Able to travel interstate as required.Next stepsTo be considered for this opportunity please submit your resume along with a short cover letter at your earliest convenience.Suitable applicants will be contacted and provided with additional information.Please note this role can be based from either Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
