They are a market leader and with a unique offering, are well positioned to leverage the natural renewable sources of energy that Australia possesses.The Role: In this role as an Associate, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough project research, performing due diligence, and creating financial models to project potential investment performance. You'll contribute to building and reviewing detailed financial models, structuring debt financing, and supporting the negotiation of key commercial and legal agreements. Throughout the lifecycle of each project, you'll stay actively involved, assisting with ongoing financing activities and monitoring overall investment performance to ensure objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Financial Modelling & Investment Analysis: Develop and manage detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities, supporting underwriting and deal structuring for both greenfield and M&A projects. Due Diligence & Presentation: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, presenting qualitative and quantitative findings to support decision-making. Project Financing & Negotiation: Contribute to financing processes by coordinating with lenders, managing external advisors, leading sub-workstreams, and negotiating terms. Business Development & Team Support: Assist in business development, including offtake tendering and project agreements, while guiding junior team members during transactions.
