We are actively looking for a talented professional who thrives on detail and collaboration to join our vibrant and dynamic studio in the heart of Fortitude Valley.About the Role:As an interior designer, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of the design process, including:Create practical, aesthetic, and unique designs across all project phases (with support from Senior Interior Designer)Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, Indesign, PhotoshopProvide technical expertise in design and documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, BCA, and council regulations.Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules using RevitContribute to the selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and design intent are maintainedStay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologiesAbout YouHold a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or a similar qualification2-3 years of professional experience working in commercial interior design/architecture practice or environmentStrong conceptual design, communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of Australian building codes and standardsBe able to take an active role in the development of design solutions alongside the Senior DesignerProficient in Revit, Adobe suite and Enscape.Technically proficient with the ability to work in the team to prepare documentation packages including drawings and schedulesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamInterest or experience in Healthcare and/or Education sectors design will be highly valued.A remuneration package will be offered based on skill levels and experience of the successful applicant.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to engage with a diverse range of projects, develop their architectural expertise, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
