About the Role:
As a Day Surgery Receptionist, you’ll be at the heart of our surgical coordination team, expertly managing elective surgery bookings through the innovative Personify Care Digital Communication Platform. Your role will be pivotal in overseeing BLIS elective surgery waitlists and ensuring all necessary actions are taken, along with facilitating appointments for Pre-Anaesthetic clinics.
You’ll engage in meaningful communication with Department Nurse Unit Managers, patients, and visiting surgeons, creating a seamless experience for everyone involved. Additionally, you’ll utilize and manage the ORMIS booking system and coordinate Chemotherapy patient bookings in both the iQemo and Sunrise systems. Join us and play a vital role in enhancing patient care and streamlining our surgical processes!

About You:
* Previous clerical experience and administrative knowledge
* Strong customer service skills
* Familiarity with occupational health and safety principles
* Understanding of equal employment opportunity and rural health services
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and office procedures
