About the Role: The Buyers Admin Assistant will support the buying team with administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the buying process. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, has an eye for detail, and is passionate about the fashion and retail industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with buyers and cross-functional teams, helping with stock management, store communication, order processing, and supplier communications.
Key responsibilities will include: Assist the buying team in maintaining accurate records of product information, orders, and deliveries.Update and manage product databases, ensuring timely and accurate entry of product details, stock levels, and pricing in conjunction with the Product team.Raise and manage all markdowns and promotions in the system.Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing and submission.Assist in preparing reports, including daily and weekly sales.Manage administrative tasks for the team including range reviews and on-order reporting.Handle general inquiries from internal teams regarding orders, stock, and delivery statuses.Assist in the coordination of product launches, promotions, and in-store visual merchandising through departmental communications.Help maintain a smooth workflow in the buying department to ensure deadlines are met.To be successful, you will ideally have the following skills and experience: Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.A keen interest in fashion and retail, particularly footwear.Previous experience in a similar administrative or retail buying role is preferred but not essential.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and experience with buying software or stock management systems is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the company.At Accent Group Limited, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
