What this opportunity involves:
This role is a 1-year fixed term contract, working full time hours
As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you’ll be working frequently with clients, so you’ll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you’ll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients’ expectations are met each and every time. You will also be the go-to person for any facilities-related concerns.
As the person in charge, you will take care of the site’s financial operations, meeting targets and control requirements. Also part of your job is to coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.
An Overview of the role:
* Stakeholder Management
o Deliver excellent customer service to meet on-site client’s expectations.
o Build and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders &/or client and be comfortable working across all levels.
o Monitor procedures to ensure client’s expectations are conveyed and worked upon.
* Risk Management
o Implementation and management of a risk management program.
o Implementation and monitoring of disaster recovering and business continuity plans.
o Implementation and management of escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.
o Adhere to JLL’s business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures and strategies.
* Site Operations Management
o Implement Industry Best Practice operations, in accordance with OpsAIDE standards and processes.
o Ensure planned preventative maintenance is performed to site’s requirement, and any corrective maintenance is performed on a timely manner.
o Seek ways to improve operational standards and cost effectiveness.
o 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required.
o Implement preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
o Implement and manage strategy and deliverables in soft services including catering, cleaning, front of house, transportation, pest control, landscaping, waste management.
o Implement and manage energy saving initiatives and sustainability objectives.
* Health & Safety Management
o Implement and manage safety procedures to ensure the provision of a safe working environment.
o Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards.
* Procurement & Vendor Management
o Manage multiple vendors using hard and soft skills to deliver services on time and within budget.
o Manage vendor procurement processes in accordance with agreed client procurement guidelines as well as JLL’s procurement best practices.
o Maintenance and Corrective activities to be managed using Corrigo and JDE.
