About the role:
This newly created opportunity offers a Project Controls Specialist looking to expand their expertise. The role is part of our Network Project Team, reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs (budgets, actuals, and forecasts), identifying cost and schedule risks, managing change and progress, coordinating across a multi-disciplined team, and delivering project status reports to Project Managers and stakeholders.
* Update and analyze project cost data, including budgets, actual costs, and forecasts, to prepare detailed cost reports ensuring projects remain within financial guidelines.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology, and logically linked tasks.
* Track, monitor, measure, and report on project progress throughout its lifecycle using Earned Value Analysis techniques.
* Implement and oversee project control processes, such as change management procedures, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
* Facilitate risk management activities, identifying and reporting potential cost and schedule risks, and advising on mitigation strategies.
* Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics.
* Establish and maintain project documentation and records.
