Your new role As a Voice IP Engineer, you will support the NetworkArchitect in design and integration activities, working closely with theinternal Voice team, IP-Support team, Product team, and customer operationsteam. Your responsibilities will include: Producing High-Level Designs(HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, network drawings, testplans, and test reports. Providing technical assurance andguidance to internal stakeholders. Conducting research anddevelopment to support business growth. Offering technical support tosales and product teams. Managing hardware procurementintermittently. Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and exceed customer expectations. Staying familiar with companypolicies and procedures and completing any required training. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree in Engineering, ComputerScience, IT, or a related field. Industry certification equivalentto CCNP; Cisco (ENDESIGN) certification is highly desirable. At least 3 years of experience inan operational role and 2 years in an ISP environment. Experience with CUCM. Proficiency in IPv4, IPv6, OSPF,BGP, EIGRP, BFD, IP/MPLS, VPWS, VPLS, PWHE, STP, Dot1q, QinQ, SIP, SDP, RTP, L2QoS, and L3 QoS. Experience with Cisco andFortinet technologies. Proven troubleshooting skillswith packet captures, analyzers, and NMS tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms(VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, Private Cloud) and network systems (DNS, DHCP,Tacacs, Syslog).
