The Opportunity
Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Shift Supervisor in our Plate Processing & Despatch (PPAD) team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
As an integral part of our steel making operations, the PPAD business is the final step in the manufacturing of our superior steel plate products at our Port Kembla site. Plate is received from the Plate Rolling Mill and is cut, finished and despatched to our export and domestic customers.
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with the team as the key point of contact for the shift operations. Coordinating the processing operation, you’ll be responsible for the operation of several processing lines ensuring the delivery of exceptional performance, whilst championing a safety-first culture. This role works a 12-hour rotating day and night shift, Monday to Friday. Enjoy a generous work / life balance due to no weekend work!
