In the role of Construction Worker Band C (Supervisor) for Structures Inspectors, you will monitor the delivery of inspection, rehabilitation and maintenance projects for civil infrastructure ensuring quality outcomes are achieved and that client and business objectives are met. You will assist in the effective supervision, programming and utilisation of resources to achieve project outcomes and provide leadership in the implementation of change initiatives at the project level. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and the project team. You will support the Operations Unit programming structures inspections and servicing. You will also supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure projects related to structures maintenance and rehabilitation.Some of your accountabilities will include:Supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure projects related to structures preservation, in particular the Structures Maintenance Performance Contract, through all phases of the project cycle.Understand and implement the Site Discovery Process where required.Apply standard drawings, specifications, supplementary specifications and other related job documentation to confirm work compliance and quality.Coordinate and program structure condition inspections and make recommendations on the use of remedial treatments and products.Co-ordinate and manage personnel and resources during emergency events.Organise material delivery and the engagement of suppliers and undertake supplier performance reviews as required.Mandatory qualifications and conditions:Significant previous experience in Structures Inspections and either structures maintenance or construction.The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical as part of our selection process for this role.Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.Possession of a Certificate III in Civil Construction applicable to modern transport infrastructure projects, plus core Leadership and Management competencies, is required.
