The Finance Business Partner is responsible for delivering high-quality financial and commercial insights, conducting performance monitoring and analytics to support informed decision-making, and managing the submission process for funding requests.

Description
* Lead on continuously reviewing and enhancing performance processes and systems within the Foundation, Higher Education, and Corporate areas to promote best practices in business analytics and performance monitoring.
* Collaborate extensively with department managers, program leads, and academic support teams to maximise revenue by ensuring effective data collection, reporting, performance monitoring, and business improvement practices.
* Provide insights, including market intelligence, commercial analysis, and statistical data, along with recommendations to senior leadership to inform sound business decisions and strategic planning.
* Assess the commercial viability of new and existing initiatives by preparing detailed reports, case studies, and analyses, including Full Course Assessments.
* Contribute to the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, market trends, and competitor analysis.
* Offer advice on processes and standards to maintain data integrity and support robust governance in decision-making.
* Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure course development is capitalised wherever possible.
* Manage the coordination and submission processes for funding applications and business opportunities.
* Provide high-level business partnering to internal and external stakeholders, addressing their needs and requests promptly and effectively.
* Develop business cases and conduct analysis, including modelling and risk assessments, to recommend strategies that ensure efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and effective risk management.
* Undertake research and analysis to support business development and broader organisational goals.
* Stay informed of changes in the educational sector, particularly government policy updates and auditing body requirements, to support strategy and organisational capability development.
Profile
* CA/CPA Qualified
* Proven experience and specialist expertise in a related data analytics/research role.
* Proven initiative and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to organise, plan, and manage complex tasks using effective management principles.
* Demonstrated strong analytical skills, particularly in interpreting, analysing, and reporting quantitative data.
* Experience in developing and reviewing business cases that support strategically aligned and financially sound investment decisions.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and translate analysis into actionable insights.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and accurately through analytical reports.
* Demonstrated commitment to an agile, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
* Experience and knowledge of government policies and processes, particularly regarding funding submissions and applications.
Job Offer
The position offers a salary range of $125,000 - $130,000 base + super, as well as flexible working arrangements.
