The Role Oversee food production and menu-based catering for 90 residents in this modern aged care facility. Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents. Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness. Create and maintain nutritional menus with a focus on healthy eating. The Person Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery. Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food. Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control with a good understanding of IDDSI and the preparation of texture modified meals. Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management.
