HammondCare Horsley seeks Registered Nurses to provide person-centred, relationship-focused care. As a clinical support role, you will work in a consultative and advisory context, with a level of professional accountability and responsibility.
You will be a core member of the residential team, working with management and carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for residents.
Responsibilities include:
1. Advising and supporting care delivery by care staff
2. Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
3. Consultative in case management and clinical decision making
4. Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
5. Implementing and supporting resident comfort focus
To succeed, you must be flexible, able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends. You should value teamwork but also work independently and show initiative.
Requirements include knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs, a genuine passion for serving elderly people, strong admin and computer skills, and current AHPRA registration with 2-3 years' experience in an Aged Care setting.
