The Momentum Alliance is made up of John Holland, Seymour Whyte and designpartners Mott MacDonald and Jacobs Group, in partnership with MRPV.The scope of works includes upgrading six kilometres of the Freeway with new traffic lanes, bridge upgrades and urban noise walls, a dedicated busway (fully segregated from mainline traffic), and a new bridge over the Yarra River.The NEL Project involves the design and construction of the upgrade of the Eastern Freeway from Hoddle Street in the west to Burke Road in the east, including:6km of brownfield freeway widening to accommodate additional traffic lanes in each direction3km dedicated busway separated from mainline trafficSignificant structures including 600m of bridges, including a 180m architectural steel shared use path bridge of the Yarra RiverFreeway-wide scope including ITS, retaining walls, stormwater drainage, noise walls, lighting and signageSite location to be around Chandler Highway / Eastern Freeway interchange.About the RoleProvide advice to the Project on communications, community relations and stakeholder relations.
Develop and implement a communications program and stakeholder management plan which provides project support by projecting a strong and positive image of the Project to the community and key stakeholders and manages stakeholder issues.What you will do:Develop and implement the Communications, Stakeholder Relations and Community Relations strategy for the project.Identify and manage issues and risks pertaining to the project and escalate issues and risks to the Project Director.Manage responses to all project related communications matters.Attend stakeholder meetings as required, including Community Reference Groups (CRG).Liaise with construction team, community and key stakeholders to respond to project 24/7 1800 number queries and effectively manage concerns raised.Liaise with the construction team to ensure community and stakeholders are notified in advance of works in accordance with the Community Relations strategy.Liaise with the client Communications Manager to keep informed regarding the communications and stakeholder engagement activities for project.Plan and manage contact with external stakeholders in a way that enhances the reputation of John Holland and organisation partners.Develop and communicate community and stakeholder awareness and risk minimisation programs across the Project through inductions and toolbox presentations.Monitor effectiveness of community and stakeholder engagement activities.Develop strategies to achieve best possible results with project KRA and KPI's.Input communications and stakeholder activities into the project stakeholder database and project reporting cycles.What we are looking for:Qualifications:Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) or certificate or relevant experience (Disciplines relevant to function area, e.g.
