About the role Full time role Act in a manner that promotes the best interest of the children Implement and assist in the development of a high quality educational curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with the service philosophy, policies and procedures and the National quality standards, the early years framework, the education and care services national regulation and the educational services law Role modelling positive relationships for children in our care Assist in the Planning and development of an inclusive environment to support every child's learning Demonstrate respect & build and maintain positive relationships with families at service Build Collaborative relationships with all staff in service based on trust, respect and honesty Engage in professional conversations with other educators Ability to support children's learning and development that incorporates the principals, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework Advocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching. Be a mentor and support to your colleagues so that consistent care and education is offered across the service. Must demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole. Must have strong time management skills Must be passionate and invested in your work and workplace Qualifications and Experience Completed Diploma and/or Cert III qualification (working towards Diploma) Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning Working with Children Check Current First Aid and CPR certificates including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Completed Child Protection Course or willing to obtain Dedicated and committed Team player Flexible with shift times Respectful and caring practice with children Understanding of the EYLF and NQS Personalised paid professional development Budget for resources and incursions to support educational programs.
