DESCRIPTION
Field Service Supervisor Alice Springs
We are looking for a talented Supervisor Field Service to join our team specialising in heavy vehicle & power generations equipment repairs and maintenance for our Alice Springs branch. This key appointment is responsible for coordinating all site-based activities whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated technicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Efficiently manage the day to day running of the site, Plan, schedule and allocate all repair events for Alice Springs. Lead, mentor, and coach 2 field service technicians - oversee repairs and sign off on Technicians work - track and measure technician productivity and performance
2. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers and fleet management of client assets.
3. Provide technical support to the staff. Perform occasional on & off-site work, including on-highway and power generation sites
4. Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements. Conduct quality checks. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
5. Maintain a high level of housekeeping, workflow and traffic management in the site.
6. Assist the remote parts team with local inventory management and order processing.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
7. Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background ideally within heavy diesel
8. Significant experience in a workshop environment with Strong leadership and people management skills
9. Heavy Vehicle qualification highly desirable
10. Motivated towards developing a high performing and professional team and their commitment to safety and providing exceptional customer service
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience. $5,000 sign on Bonus. Location allowance. Housing allowance. Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program.
