Our client prides themselves on impeccable hospitality, great food, and exceeding guest expectations. Both venues are iconic hotels in the area and are well known for their thriving entertainment-led atmosphere, boasting busy sports bars, bistro operations, TAB, beer gardens, functions, and gaming facilities. The ownership group has big plans and great development opportunities across their businesses! We are currently looking for leaders to join their dedicated senior management team across the two venues – Bathurst and Orange, NSW. The RoleAs an Assistant Manager, your key focuses will include: Leading the team and ensuring they are consistently delivering a quality customer experience Setting the example for your team and driving a strong positive culture Maintaining cost controls as well as working with the team on sales-driving initiatives Overseeing all bar, function, gaming, and food service whilst on shift Note: This position will require the applicant to be available for night, weekend, and public holiday work The Candidate The ideal addition to our client's leadership team will possess the following: 2-3 years' experience in a floor-based, hands-on role in hospitality – preferably a pub or club (or similar retail environment) Good communication skills – both verbal and written Ability to work both autonomously and as a team Demonstrated problem-solving skills Conflict management A passion for food and beverage Experience with staff allocation and rostering Excellent personal presentation Be a mature, reliable, and passionate motivator Ability to develop relationships with a wide range of clients and suppliers Be highly organised with the ability to think on your feet Hold a valid driver's license and own transport The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary based on experience.
