We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the Secure Power/APC team as an Account Director in our Sydney office.
The Account Director will be responsible for leading and managing the data centre solutions strategy with the Cloud and Service Provider segment. As the Account Director, you will be focus on Schneider’s largest key data centre accounts.
The successful person will have a deep understanding of the Hyperscale Data Centre and Colocation Segments and the key business drivers. You will be seen an expert in this space and lead team members, as well as support functions to successful client engagement.

Responsibilities
* Develop Relationships with key decision makers within nominated account(s)
* Become an integrated opportunity team member working hand in hand with End User C&SP teams for major projects with nominated EcoSystem value chain accounts.
* Process and analyse feasibility assessments for all bid/contract documents related to developed opportunities – plug into local and regional DC RAC, RAC & Execution Centres
* Develop and execute account plans to support existing and new customers for Schneider Electrics portfolio of products an solutions for critical Data centre applications.
* Support internal teams with commercial advice and support, managing the flow of requests, and ensuring response rate to requests is at optimum levels
* Articulate to the customer the business benefit and technical advantages of proposed solutions
* Assist the customer in the evaluation and definition of their requirements and any perceived constraints
* Build a data centre C&SP PAM representative funnel across Schneider Data Centre offer portfolio.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Engineering or Business with experience in Information systems/ICT/Data Centres in the manufacturing space
* The ability to build long term, customer focused relationships is essential
* Solid, direct and related sales experience highly advantageous
* Sound commercial acumen with an enabling mindset, with the confidence to propose a solution/outcome to meet the customer’s business needs
* Ability to communicate the differentiating elements in a simple yet convincing manner
* Technical engineering or validation background and detailed understanding of data centre and cloud technology and key market drivers
* Ability and willingness to work onsite with the customer approx. 30% of the time
* Influential communicator at all levels
