Based in the Osborne Park, this business has a wide range of disciples that operates across all of Western Australia
Due to an internal transformation project, they require the support of an Accounts Payable Officer on a temporary basis for a minimum of 4 months.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, and working in a team of 6, duties will include, but not be limited too
1. Process high volumes of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
2. Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
3. Processes FX invoices and prepare ad-hoc payment runs
4. Collaborate with internal and external departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries
5. Handle all administration of credit cards including cancelations
6. Manage monthly vendor reconciliations
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
8. Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to process improvements
Ideal Candidate
9. Past experience as an accounts payable officer, from a high volume environment
10. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
11. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
