The role As a key member of the payroll services team, you will lead and manage the coordination of daily operations to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of payroll outcomes. You will provide leadership, oversight, and workload monitoring while maintaining high service quality and compliance with health and safety policies. This role involves fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the Service Leader in achieving operational goals, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in payroll systems and processes. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing team capabilities through induction, training, and change management initiatives, ensuring adaptability to evolving business needs. Your ability to provide strategic leadership in a fast-paced environment will be essential in achieving service excellence. You will engage with clients to enhance service delivery, address concerns, and promote process education. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance against benchmarks, ensuring audit compliance, and driving a culture of ethical decision-making and accountability. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to manage competing priorities and deliver quality customer service within a complex and evolving payroll landscape.
