We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Speech Pathologist to provide Speech Pathology to our community.

East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. Our services include dental, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics, diabetes education and social work. These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients.
About the Role
The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, and maternal child and health nurses which are co-located in the Community Health Centre. The speech pathologist conducts assessments and provides intervention for a range of communication needs such as speech, language and fluency, as well as dysphagia management strategies for swallowing conditions.
There will be opportunity for additional training which will be tailored to your needs and preferences. Options may include speech pathology specific professional development, multidisciplinary training with other speech pathologists across regional Victoria, attendance at professional conferences and clinical supervision.
About You
* Must hold a Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Masters in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
* Must be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* Proven ability to work both in a team and independently.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working with Children Checks).
