As a result, we are eagerly looking for an experienced HSEQ Superintendent to join our dynamic HSEQ Team and be part of this driven journey. Based at our SW office in Bunbury, Western Australia, the successful candidate will become an integral part of our dynamic team. This team is not just about providing excellent HSEQ support and advice, but also about embracing challenges and driving change across all of our Western Australian branches. Reporting directly to the MGM Bulk HSECQ Manager, you would be responsible for the dedicated and professional HSEQ Advisors team. To support our Northwest team members, a minimum of three days per fortnight is expected to be spent at our Port Hedland branch. Responsibilities: Single point accountability for the overall output and performance of the HSEQ Team reporting to the role. Pivotal in the upskilling and development of the HSEQ Team Ensure the provision of HSEQ advice and written content is of a high standard. Provide visible felt leadership and evidence-based advice to Operations. Establish and improve team processes to plan work to deliver objectives, assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage performance. Identify and assess new and developing safety concerns, legislation, and company standards that may impact Operations and communicate the implications to various stakeholders. Facilitate and coach Operations Teams with incident investigation techniques, including ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) investigations and report writing. Ensure all compliance and reporting requirements are met per internal, external and client expectations. Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or related fields (e.g., Risk Management). Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 upgrade) will be well regarded. Strong experience in a Senior Health and Safety position, preferably within the resources sector (Transport, Mining, Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering). Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the field of Health and Safety is necessary. Auditing experience / Lead Auditor Training. Ability to write and update documentation (standards, procedures) to meet current company requirements. Ability to assess company documentation against legislative requirements to ensure compliance.
