Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop.
* Prioritising repairs based on safety, operational needs, and urgency.
* Raising of purchase orders for work being undertaken externally.
* Building and maintaining professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and external service providers.
* Providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including accurate and complete paperwork.
Requirements:
* A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential).
* Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of prime movers, trucks, trailers, and LNG equipment maintenance (advantageous).
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word; SAP experience is highly regarded.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
* The ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
