About the role
The baggage handling system of an airport is a vital piece of equipment responsible for ensuring a successful passenger experience and, ultimately, the reputation and satisfaction of airports and airlines.
As a Technical Supervisor, you will during business hours coordinate and manage the system, ensuring the system's effective operation delivering on safety and performance standards.
Key to your daily program will be technical support of operational activities programme and monitor maintenance and breakdown maintenance and coordinate with airlines, handling agents and WAC personnel.

What you'll be doing
As part of our site management team, your key functions include:
* Proactive day to day technical support of all operations activities to deliver our contractual outcomes
* Coordinate with airlines, handling agents and WAC personnel.
* Monitor and report on systems performance.
* Programme and monitor scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
* Assist with effective, efficient and cost focussed management of a rostered 24/7 team environment.
* Assist with recruitment of operations and maintenance staff Provide day to day direction to all technical staff reports
* Organise and assist with regular training and development to support the team in carrying out their duties.
Your skills & experience
Your qualifications and experience will include:
* Hold an WA Electrical License
* Previous experience in a supervisory role
* Proven experience with PLC fault finding, SCADA systems and Asibus
* Sound technical understanding of automated control systems in a materials handling, manufacturing or high-speed processing environment
* Experience in detailed electrical and control system operation and maintenance
* Post trade certificate in Hydraulics, Programmable Logic Controllers, or an appropriate engineering field are desirable.
* Requirement for a current and clear driver's licence.
