About the Service
The Medicare Mental Health Services are free and do not require an appointment, referral, or Medicare card to visit a Medicare Mental Health Centre. The new services in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, and Outer Hobart are co-funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments, providing a streamlined approach to support better mental health and social wellbeing across the country.

Job Overview
The Clinical Services Manager will have a pivotal role in the overall leadership and management of the MMHC TAS teams, including:
* Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing Medicare Mental Health Services in Tasmania.
* Overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical, financial, administrative systems, and billing processes.
* Ensuring the MMHC teams operate within a framework of continuous quality improvement and risk management.
* Facilitating and convening meetings of the Clinical Governance Committee and associated subcommittees.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (or working towards).
* A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a mental health service.
* Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model.
* Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs.
* Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
