About the role
We are currently seeking an outgoing individual to join the team as a casual Yard Assistant / Delivery Driver for our Mitre 10 site in Footscray. This position will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement. Working with various team members, you will have excellent interpersonal skills to build solid, long-term relationships.
What you will be doing:
1. Provide superior customer service and providing product knowledge
2. Maintenance of stock standards
3. Safe and timely delivery of goods to meet agreed delivery schedules
4. Maintaining clean and safe work areas
What you will bring;
5. Work in a fast-paced team environment
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work across the 7 days of the week, including some public holidays
8. Previous Timber & Hardware industry experience in a similar role
9. Safety and Customer service focus
10. Forklifit License
11. MR Truck License
