More about what you’ll do
Reporting to the Outbound Team Leader, this role is a hybrid role comprising of Delivery Driver with furniture assembly duties.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Deliveries: These will include desktop deliveries during our Back-To-School season, paper valet services and spill orders from local drivers.
* Furniture Delivery and Assembly: Safely deliver and assemble furniture for clients, ensuring all items are set up according to specifications and customer satisfaction standards.
* Backup Driver Support: Provide coverage for driver shifts in the event of illness or absence, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries are maintained.
This role is Permanent Full Time role. The shift times will be Monday - Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm.
To qualify for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
* A current Drivers Licence
* Experience working as a multi drop driver and providing desk top delivery
* You are a driven and passionate individual
* Strong sense of safety and a good understanding of warehouse OHS requirements
* High level of attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team
* Basic Computer Skills including data entry
* Experience working in a warehouse environment preferable
* Forklift Licence desirable, but not essential
