About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide direct support to our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries with daily tasks in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
* Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
* Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
* Basic wound care and self-medication.
* Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
* Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.
Requirements:
* Experience in disability or aged care is not required - full training provided.
* A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle are required.
* A smartphone device.
* Hold, or willing to obtain, an NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card.
* NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
