will leverage your clinical expertise, knowledge, and professional skills to design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of consumers within the Local Health Network Mental Health service and the broader community.Working with a degree of clinical independence, you may also provide clinical support and supervision to other psychologists, allied health professionals, and students.As a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will employ a variety of psychological assessments and interventions, including evidence-based therapeutic approaches, early psychological interventions, and both individual and family-focused strategies.Your role will also involve facilitating group programs and community development initiatives as needed, ensuring that our services effectively support those on their mental health journey.As a Provisional Psychologist (AHP1), you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented services within the Eyre and Far North Mental Health service.Your work will be tailored to meet the unique needs of consumers and the local community.Under a supervision plan approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, you will receive clinical guidance from a Senior Psychologist, enhancing your knowledge and skills while developing your professional capabilities through continuous learning and experience.You will contribute to the delivery of integrated clinical mental health care across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings, utilising a combination of psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to support consumers on their recovery journey.What We're Looking For:AHP2Must hold general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.This normally requires at least an Honours Degree in Psychology and subsequent completion of 2 years of Board approved supervision and training as a Provisional Psychologist, either by completion of an approved Psychology postgraduate degree or in a Board approved psychology internship, or an equivalent qualification as determined by the Psychology Board of Australia.Clinical endorsement with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible and willing to participate in AHPRA Clinical Psychology Registrar Program is desirable.AHP1Must hold a recognised four-year qualification within the Psychology profession and be eligible to hold provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.For the duration of employment, the Provisional Psychologist must work toward full registration under an arrangement approved by the Board, such as a Clinical Master's degree or a Psychology Internship and must comply with all
