We are currently looking for experienced professionals to join our NSW team.We encourage professionals with greater than 5 years of experience in occupational hygiene monitoring and risk assessments to apply. Salary range is $115,000 to $135,000 plus super per annum depending on experience.ResponsibilitiesConduct workplace health risk assessment, assist clients with designing and implementing adequate controls in accordance with relevant standards and / or regulatory requirements.Conduct exposure monitoring for welding fumes, respirable crystalline silica, volatile organic compounds, diesel particulate matters, noise, vibration and thermal stress.Analyse test results and report on findings and provide recommendations.Train and mentor junior team members.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in science;Post graduate qualification in relevant field;Membership with professional associations like AIOH;Extensive experience in risk assessment, physical, chemical, biological and ergonomical;Experience in exposure monitoring in mining, construction, tunnelling environments;Ability to project manage large projects and diverse stakeholders;Ability to mentor and develop a team of junior / graduate hygienists;Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail;Good problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically;Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;Good verbal and written communication skills;Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills;Able to travel interstate.
