Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Transport Driver to provide transport services for eligible members of the community. The successful candidate will have a caring nature and a strong commitment to making a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable people.
The role involves providing transport services via our fleet of buses or cars, as well as promoting our services in the region to ensure ongoing program viability. The ideal candidate will possess a current C or CA class driver's license (QLD) and be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Authorisation License.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide Transport Services: Safely transport clients using our fleet of buses or cars
* Client Support: Provide information and support to clients about transport services
* Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and vehicle inspections to ensure client safety
* Reporting: Report incidents and hazards related to service delivery and fleet vehicles
* Promotion: Promote our services in the region to ensure ongoing program viability
Qualifications and Experience
* Driver's License: Current C or CA class driver's license (QLD)
* Driver Authorization: Ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Authorisation License
* Transport Experience: Demonstrated experience in Transport Services or Community Care Services (desirable)
* Driving Skills: Experience in driving 12-seater vehicles (desirable)

* Numeracy and Literacy: Basic numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills relevant to the work area
* Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using computers and handheld devices
* Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct appropriate risk assessments
Other Requirements
* Administrative Knowledge: Basic knowledge of administrative practice and procedures relevant to the work area
* Computer Skills: Sound computer knowledge
* Transport Experience: Prior experience providing transport services (desirable)
* Fleet Vehicle Operation: Willingness to operate any allocated fleet vehicle such as 10-12 seat buses or vans
* Availability: Availability to work Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00am
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia and disclose any pre-existing injury or disease that may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position. All offers of employment are subject to completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children prior to commencement.
