Kambu Health is a proud community-controlled, not-for-profit organisation that has been delivering exceptional health and wellbeing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Ipswich and West Moreton region since 1973.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Paediatrician to provide clinical leadership in delivering culturally appropriate, high-quality paediatric care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in our region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead diagnostic and therapeutic services for children with FASD, ASD, ADHD, and other developmental conditions.
* Provide culturally appropriate, high-quality paediatric care.
* Participate in screening, recall, follow-up, and referral processes.
* Work with our multidisciplinary team to support holistic, family-centered care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics).
* Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* High level leadership and collaborative skills.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in education of health practitioners.
* Extensive knowledge in child development, paediatric diseases, and the ability to diagnose and treat medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
