About the role
As a part-time Community Care Worker, you will provide assistance to our Home Care Clients to maintain and improve their life, by providing of a range of direct practical assistance in their homes.
There are multiple temporary part time opportunities available for a 12 month duration.
Work type: Temporary Part-Time (12 month fixed term)
Classification: Band 2 $31.78 per hour + super
Key responsibilities include:
* Perform general housework and cleaning
* Meal preparation
* Personal care tasks including personal grooming
* Provide support in maintaining social contacts, emotional health and well-being
* Monitor clients’ health and well-being and report any concerns.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience providing personal care, domestic and household activities to people who are ageing, live with disability or mental illness. You will also:
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged) or equivalent
* Have a current First Aid Level 2, including CPR module
* Be willing to undergo a national police check, medical and functional assessments
* Have a current driver’s license, comprehensive insurance and a reliable registered motor vehicle
* Be physically able to carry out a range of household duties
* Have availability of 3 weekdays or greater
* Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a Pre Employment Medical Assessment as part of the recruitment process.
