The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our business at our Thomastown office. As a Credit Controller, you will play an integral role within the company, responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts, managing risk, and building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a portfolio of accounts and achieving monthly targets.
* Ensuring customers are informed about their trading terms and any account-related issues.
* Processing account application forms and maintaining accurate data.
* Providing the highest level of customer service by communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
* Collecting outstanding accounts in a timely manner.
* Maintaining current account reconciliations and working within customer portals as needed.
* Handling account maintenance and resolving disputes efficiently.
About You
We are seeking a highly organised individual who excels at multitasking, stays motivated under pressure, and has a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Credit Controller and be a team player with the following skills and attributes:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve issues effectively.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficiency with computer systems (experience with D365 is highly regarded).
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
