Paediatric Occupational Therapist (multiple positions available)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established private practice that strives to deliver high quality occupational therapy services in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Ali Murch OT was established in 2013 and currently consists of 3 OTs and 2 Allied Health Assistants. Our mission is to provide a professional paediatric occupational therapy service in the Barossa Valley that is accessible, friendly, evidence-based, creative, safe and connected to the community.
The supportive and experienced team at Ali Murch OT offers a friendly and professional working environment in a fresh and light filled therapy space. The role comes with ample opportunities for professional development, regular clinical supervision (weekly or fortnightly), admin support, allied health assistant support, extensive therapy resources, a shared office space with other OTs and opportunities for a flexible working environment. The clinic is co-located with speech pathology and physiotherapy services.
We provide a service to children and young people aged 0-21 years who present with a range of needs and pride ourselves on our family-centered focus, making sure we deliver our service tailored to the needs and goals of our children and their families.

Requirements
About you:
* A strong interest in working with children and young people aged 0-21 years with needs in a range of areas who have a wide range of presentations
* Confidence to provide 1:1 intervention, group intervention, consultation or home programming
* A passion to provide children and families with evidence informed intervention programs in a flexible, fun, family centred approach
* A solution focused mindset to work creatively with your clients, your team and relevant others
* A commitment to evidence based practice principles and an understanding of best practice in early childhood intervention
* Willingness to work in community settings e.g. education settings, community settings, client homes as well as on site at Ali Murch OT
* Attention to detail and desire to consistently complete work to a high standard
* Outstanding verbal and written communication
* A positive attitude and the desire to be a part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Understand the NDIS and provide services to NDIS participants as well as clients accessing non-NDIS programs
* Applicants must have a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy eg Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Master of Occupational Therapy
* Membership of AHPRA or ability to obtain on graduation
* A current cleared Working With Children Check
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience working with children (University Placements and/or any other paid or volunteer work with children)
* Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team, including other therapists, education staff and parents (University Placements and/or any other paid or volunteer work with children)
* Current Drivers Licence
* A reliable registered and insured vehicle
