We are seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to join our team, providing frontline HR support across the dynamic business for a start in late 2024 or early 2025.
About YouYou are a seasoned HR Business Partner with experience navigating in a fast-paced, agile environment. You are degree-qualified and have experience across all HR functions. You bring broad generalist skills, particularly in ER, Workday HR system knowledge and experience (essential), strategic partnering skills, and stakeholder management, along with a global business mindset. You have a love and understanding of Golf and its products.
About the Role
The HR Business Partner is part of the regional leadership team and works with company leadership in the region to drive business results by strengthening employee and organizational capabilities.
Provides a high level of support to the company in all functional areas of Human Resources including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, leaves of absence, policy and legal compliance, relocation, employment onboarding/off-boarding processes, and payroll.
Maintains a close connection with the business to provide support to both managers and individual employees while working with GM and Global team to promote development and engagement of passionate leadership team in Melbourne.
Reports and participates in Global HR leadership, with a dotted line to the General Manager, Pacific.
Essential Functions Include:
Talent Acquisition
Support leaders in talent acquisition and retention strategies.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage end-to-end recruitment including role evaluation, talent pool growth, advertising, screening, and interview & selection processes.
Conduct reference checks, prepare employment contracts, induction schedules, and other associated recruitment documentation.
Onboarding and Integration
Support leaders with onboarding and induction processes.
Onboard new employees in relation to company values & vision, policies, procedures, role description, and clarification using Workday.
Facilitate/coordinate new hire training as required.
Performance Culture and Learning & Development
Provide advice, coaching, feedback, and support to leaders to drive engagement and a culture of high performance and client service.
Promote a performance feedback culture by assisting in the implementation of performance appraisals and performance improvement plans.
Assist in the identification of training and development needs as required and administer the supported education policy as required.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
Compensation & Benefits
Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits, including salary reviews, incentive/bonus scheme, and industry benchmarking in conjunction with the global team.
Provide guidance on salary-related inquiries and ensure equitable and competitive remuneration practices through industry benchmarking, internal salary reviews, and calibration, in conjunction with the global team.
Ensure that all information is current, accurate, and timely.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Lead the OH&S team and ensure staff are trained in Emergency Evacuation procedures and fire wardens are appointed as required.
Uphold all legislative health and safety regulations and document incidents accordingly.
Support the continued development and implementation of wellbeing programs (WhereFit, EAP, training, etc.).
HR Compliance Policies & Procedures
Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
Provide education on new legislation as required.
Payroll
Monthly payroll completion using ADP payroll.
