The role
This Government Department is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join the team on a contract role. It is through to end of September with possible extensions. The purpose and the focus of this role is to provide high quality operational HR advice and services to a designated client group in a busy deadline driven environment.
Responsibilities
1. Manage recruitment documentation including contracts and letters of offer
2. Provide managers with applicant lists for short-listing
3. Support managers with recruitment process including review of the finalised position description and advertising of vacancies
4. Provide advice on the appropriate interpretation of department HR policy
5. Prepare reports, and correspondence relating to HR issues as required
Required
6. Min 12 months experience in HR
7. Experience providing HR services in a changing business environment
8. Working knowledge in Government sector - highly regarded
9. Good stakeholder management skills
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Ability to start ASAP
