Our core business includes the hire and sale of compaction & construction equipment with associated servicing and the supply of parts and transport services.Conplant’s success and stability in market has led to the need for a Hire Controller/Branch Administrator, to join our Coffs Harbour team.Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager, you will organise the timely provision of hire equipment to customer sites. As Hire Controller/Branch Administrator, you will also undertake a range of responsive branch administrative support services to ensure effective day to day branch operations. You will also:•Timely respond to customer requests regarding the hire of equipment, completing all appropriate processes and documentation to facilitate safe and efficient hire activities.•Organise the despatch, transportation and return of hire equipment via internal Drivers and/or external logistics specialists.•Ensure that all legal and internal protocol, including vehicle registration and toll tags are actioned.•Undertake reporting capturing delivery data and required information to support the wider Operations team.•Act as a central point of contact at Reception or by telephone to ensure that Conplant’s customers and suppliers receive professional, prompt, and consistent initial responses.•Respond to breakdown calls obtaining all appropriate customer information, initiating action with the Workshop Manager and wider Operations team.•Organise all associated work and purchase orders associated with hire fleet scheduled services, general services and major repairs completing all associated administration.•Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.•Practical experience of workplace health and safety legislation.•An organised, methodical approach with the ability to follow well established safety procedures is essential. •Attention to detail.•A flexible ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness and ability to work as part of a small team.•Ability to utilise bespoke company IT system on an android tablet.What’s in it for me?•We invest in you, because you’re worth it.•Personal and professional development opportunities.•Health & wellness initiatives.•A stable, growing business spanning more than 6 decades of high-performance operation.
