About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Lecturer in Physiotherapy, with expertise in Musculoskeletal or Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy, to join our world-leading School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your teaching impact through leadership in course coordination aligned with UQ values and engage in internal and external collaborations that influence teaching and clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students and provide academic counselling.
* Research: Establish collaborative teaching and learning links and develop new or improved approaches towards quality clinical practices.
* Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute clinical knowledge to the supervision of students.
* Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, mentor and support colleagues and engage in internal service roles and committees.

About You
Applicants should possess a PhD in Physiotherapy, and/or a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) and/or Physiotherapy (Sports), along with holding an APA title as a Musculoskeletal and/or Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
Additionally, you will demonstrate:
* Evidence of high-quality university teaching in Physiotherapy across a variety of settings, including post-graduate specialty Physiotherapy programs.
* An emerging profile of teaching impact in Physiotherapy.
* Participation in projects that improve curriculum, pedagogy, or assessment practices of others, with funded projects being well regarded.
* Participation in curriculum development at the program and/or course level in Physiotherapy.
* Well-developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in teaching and learning.
* A profile of professional clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and/or sports and exercise Physiotherapy that complements and/or supplements the expertise that currently exists within the School and the broader University.
Mandatory Requirements: You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply (visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment). The successful candidate will also be required to hold and maintain full AHPRA registration and complete mandatory immunisations (as they apply to this position).
