We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our growing Brisbane office.Recognised in the AFR BOSS Magazine's Best Places to Work 2024.Join a modern, market-leading law firm that puts its people first.Be part of a busy and collegiate Front of House team.About youYou are an experienced, well-presented receptionist ready to take on a new role in a growing Brisbane office.Requirements to be successful in the role:A minimum of 2 years of corporate reception, concierge, and/or hospitality experience.Excellent telephone manner and a positive attitude.Strong organisational skills, including multi-tasking.Ability to quickly build rapport with staff, senior stakeholders and clients.Professional communication style.Experience with the set-up of audio-visual equipment and IT solutions.Strong experience with meeting room set up and pack down.Previous involvement with drink and catering services (the successful candidate must hold a RSA certification).Your roleYour role is to maintain the highly important first impression of the Firm, meet and greet clients and visitors, and be a key member of the team responsible for the overall front of house activities, including meeting rooms.Key responsibilities include:Present a positive first impression of the Firm by greeting visitors and directing them to the correct team member and/or department.Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for external clients and visitors.Develop and maintain professional relationships, in person and over the phone.Answer incoming telephone calls and assist with general queries and information.Manage the reception area and keep it tidy.Manage all meeting rooms, including bookings and ensure presentation is maintained.Assist with audio-visual setup in meeting rooms including video and telephone conferences and presentations.Provide support for Firm events, including set up, service, and breakdown.Provide coffee, tea, or drink service to staff, clients, and guests.Receive and action travel requests and booking forms.Assist with catering orders and FOH stock levels.About GadensGadens is the only law firm to be recognised in AFR BOSS Magazine's Best Places to Work 2024, which ranks Australia and New Zealand's best workplaces across nine different industries.We are a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
