The Prince of Wales Hotel is currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie Junior to join our growing team!
This is an excellent opportunity to join a tenured team in one of Niagara's top kitchens!
What you'll be doing:
1. Ensures Team Members have all the foods which are required to serve the menu and/or fill up the buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on a daily basis.
2. Responsible for supervision and cooking of preparatory cooking of soup stocks and other preliminary preparation of food based on the menu requirements daily.
3. Supervises and directs kitchen Team Members by scheduling workload.
4. Executes Dining Room Main Line.
5. Ensures the rotation of food stocks and performs inventory control function.
6. Checks the kitchen function sheets daily to ensure that the food items are available and that special item menu and/or buffet requirements are attainable.
7. Ensures the kitchen standards are upheld at all times both personally and by team members.
8. All other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the team:
1. Minimum 4 years experience in culinary environment.
2. Culinary management diploma or red seal designate an asset.
3. Off-site catering experience an asset.
