The hours of this role are split between HARP (48hr/fn) and Renal (8hr/fn)
The purpose of this HARP Grade 2 Occupational therapy position is to:
* Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients within the designated caseload in the HARP program at Bendigo Health
* Assist in the facilitation of safe and timely discharge from a public hospital including acute, subacute and the emergency department
* Provide rapid response community-based services, to assist individuals to recuperate after hospitalisation
The purpose of this Renal Grade 2 Occupational Therapist (OT) is to:
* provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to an allocation of patients within the Home Dialysis Unit at Bendigo Health.
* Work collaboratively with the HDU nursing & medical teams in assessment & evaluation of care provision strategies to optimise the success & safety of patients dialysing in their homes.
