About the role

Mater Health Services is seeking talented individuals like you to join our exceptional team within the Neurosciences Unit at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane. Pick the hours that work for you! We have three positions available, 0.6FTE (six shifts per fortnight), 0.8FTE (eight shifts per fortnight) and Full Time.
Salary range: $41.47 - $53.30 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and +

In our Neurosciences Unit, we have 56 beds dedicated to neurology, neurosurgery, and spinal surgery patients. About you
To be considered for this position, you will have:
1. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
2. RN experience dealing with Neuro patients
3. Considerable post-graduate experience
4. Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills
5. Strong problem-solving skills
6. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement process, coupled with the proven ability to initiate, coordinate and evaluate quality improvement measures
7. Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends
Those applicants with relevant post graduate qualifications and/or clinical experience in relevant fields of nursing will be highly regarded. While not essential, applicants who currently have or are studying towards a tertiary qualification within this clinical specialty would be highly regarded.
