What's the Role: You are a detail-oriented Demand Planner who thrives on creating accurate sales forecasts and driving effective demand planning processes. You will work closely with the sales, supply-planning, and logistics teams to deliver a robust monthly consensus demand plan focused on the Bradken Mining business.You are proactive and analytical, with a keen ability to identify patterns and anticipate market shifts. You will deliver a consensus-driven forecast for Bradken's customers and product lines, utilizing advanced analysis tools to capture seasonality, market changes, and macroeconomic impacts.Your work will directly support the monthly S&OP and S&OE processes, ensuring that forecasts align with business strategies and reflect real-time market dynamics. You will also collaborate with product development to account for new product introductions and product life cycles.You are a strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and secure commitment to the demand plan. You will facilitate robust reviews, document key assumptions, and clearly outline risks, opportunities, and changes in demand. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure forecast accuracy and address gaps between actual performance and business objectives. Key Technical Criteria: Degree qualified or suitable qualification/experience in business, Planning, Logistics, science, and/or Supply Chain.Experience in Forecasting, Demand planning & Inventory management, preferably for a global and/or complex group of products, customers, and markets.Working knowledge of MRP in an ERP system, safety stock settings, and inventory planning tools is highly advantageous.Proficient in Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.This role can be based in Brisbane/Perth.
