Summary of the role:
Working as part of a team within payroll processing activities for various payroll groups including the preparation, processing and balancing of payroll. Ensures all information received from data interfaces and manual data sources is uploaded to the system without error. Utilises internal or external payroll technologies for payroll processing activities
Main duties/accountabilities:
* Administers and processes payroll according to internal procedures.
* Support the fortnightly payruns for Australia and New Zealand
* Providing payroll support for monthly pays
* Approval of timesheets
* Assisting with Leave reconciliations
* Ensures payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; ensures proper calculation of taxes and deductions.
* Provides customer support to the sites including any off-cycle or replacement payments needed.
* Reviews the information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities associated with payroll.
* Assisting with the month end reports.
* Completes year end process including year end adjustments, year end tax statements and review of year end tax filing information.
System Knowledge
* ADP System (Must Have)
* NZ Payroll experience (nice to have)
This is an initial casual assignment until 31st March 2025 working Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm, Located in Scoresby Victoria
