Marketplace
The Marketplace team leads, manages, and inspires the investment team to deliver Purple standard implementation and trading practices. We are looking for a Group Investment Director to work with one of our biggest clients, market leaders in the FMCG space.
This role is based in Sydney and involves engaging with media partners to retain rich knowledge of the media landscape and deep understanding of core media principles and capabilities of each media touchpoint.
You will be responsible for developing future-fit, market-leading investment strategies for your clients to fuel growth for their business. You will ensure client investment deliverables are met consistently across all touchpoints and oversee financial and compliance processes with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with internal product teams to ensure understanding of their offerings and relevance to clients.
* Confidently apply media planning principles (e.g., scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritization, roles of all communication channels).
* Construct and present robust Implementation plans grounded in strategic priorities.
* Bring innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market.
* Develop and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.
* Deliver well-informed POV in every meeting, providing innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert in your craft.
* Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives, and initiatives.
* Help build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client service.
* Build strong and enduring client relationships at a senior level.
Requirements
You will have considerable career experience across major agency and channel-related topics, including leveraging deep experience to deliver advanced client and brand outcomes.
This will be underpinned by 8-12 years' experience in Media Agencies or broader Media Industry using SME tools, techniques, and processes.
