As the Brand and Reputation Specialist, you will develop and execute comprehensive earned and paid media strategies to increase brand awareness and credibility in our core operating regions. You will also provide strategic support on major projects, applying your expertise in change, stakeholder engagement and planning. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts across the business to deliver powerful outcomes for our brand and reputation. You will build and maintain key media relationships, whilst working with SMEs to proactively develop thought leadership content that drives trust and awareness of the Gallagher Bassett brand. You will partner with leaders across the business to prepare and implement comprehensive communication plans to support major projects. How you'll make an impact : Develop media strategies by analyzing coverage, industry/competitor trends and business objectives; Generate and maintain an editorial calendar to track all active and upcoming media or thought leadership topics; Assist in preparing key business leaders for media engagement by developing briefing documents, messaging and materials; Craft and pitch compelling earned and paid media collateral that aligns to our brand, key messages and tone of voice; Coordinate and manage spokesperson interviews or other external speaking appearances; Partner with Marketing & Digital colleagues to amplify earned and paid media across all other appropriate channels; Deliver high-value communications advice across a range of change and operational projects; Track and analyze the effectiveness of media campaigns and major projects to make data-driven recommendations; Monitor our earned media mentions, sentiment and coverage to identify reactive opportunities, industry trends and feedback. About you : Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including Public Relations, Communications and Marketing. Tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded; Confident writer of media and thought leadership content who can easily adapt tone of voice; Experience providing professional advice to executives across a range of areas of a business; The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities to deliver project support and collateral in a timely and effective manner; Experience engaging with journalists or media entities to negotiate coverage, placement, interviews and paid agreements; A strong sense of team and collaboration; A resilient attitude.
