You will achieve and maintain ZeroHarm; implement and drive business improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiency and achieve quality and sustainability targets.Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:Working closely with the Central Queensland Area Manager, concrete operational team and local Operations Manager to implement national operating standards.Implementing agreed functional excellence sales and marketing initiatives within the business.Leading a highly motivated teamWorking closely with managers and supervisors to achieve efficient and cost effective operation at all sitesEnsuring product and service that meets customer requirements Engaging with plant staff and drivers and providing strong leadership in the areas of health and safety, the environment, operations management, cost management and operational improvementEnsuring safety standards are met through strong people leadershipManaging daily operations with a focus on improvementDriving customer relationships to ensure suitable outcomesControlling costs across plant and fleetAbout you:Hands-on leadership experience in relevant fields, preferably concrete and/or aggregates but experience in related sectors will also be considered e.g.
industrial manufacturing/ steel/ bricks/ plasterboard/ roofing, pre-cast, industrial hire or similar sectors.A degree i.e.
Engineering or Business Management or in related disciplines (preferred but not essential)Strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsAn understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships within the relevant Concrete business and across the wider Holcim businessCustomer focus, with the ability to cultivate relationships and build strong networksDemonstrated business and financial acumenHighly organised, detail orientated and able to work well under pressureIntermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, GoogleWe will invest in your growth, providing you with direction, leadership, and recognition with supportive management setting realistic targets and goals.
