We are currently recruiting for a Cafe Kitchen Hand/Cook to join the team for an immediate start.
You will be responsible for:
* Food Preparation: Assisting in basic food prep like chopping produce, washing produce, portioning ingredients, or preparing Larder dishes (i.e. cold appetizers, salads, sandwiches etc).
* Cooking: Cooking a wide range of fresh, high-quality meals and snacks for our cafe.
* Dishwashing and Cleaning: If required, support the Dish Pit by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.
* Stocking and Organising: Unpacking and organising deliveries of food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and rotated to maintain freshness.
* Waste Management: Disposing of kitchen waste, recycling, and ensuring that trash is handled efficiently to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
* Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed, including food handling and storage and cleaning procedures.
