o OPS2 - Operational Services Officer L2 - $29.62 to $31.86 per hour plus 25% casual loading

About the Opportunity
Exciting opportunities exist within 3D (Disability Services) Team to join us as a Health Support Officer (Level 1 and Level 2 positions available) in a casual capacity.
* Provide support to students with complex/invasive health care needs and/or disabilities within an educational setting.
* Implement procedures and specific health plans to support multiple students with invasive health care needs.
* Administer medication and undertake delegated complex and invasive health care tasks according to health plans.
* Respond to emergency situations based on first aid and other standard training protocols.
* Work under direction and perform functions requiring the practical application of skills and knowledge.
* Under supervision of RNs, engage in tasks such as visual observation, patient supervision for safety, diversional patient activities, and assisting in activities of daily living.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current First-Aid Certificate
* Effective communication skills, written and oral, within a multidisciplinary team
* The ability to work effectively and sensitively and to establish positive rapport with clients
* The ability to identify and manage emergency situations, using established procedures
* Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and procedures and the application to this role
